"Sold!"
So, I spent most of my day organizing, cleaning and sorting my house, my studio....basically everything. I have such a busy fall that I need to spend the next few days just getting things in order around here. I was going through all my photography equipment and decided it was time to sell my first-ever ...DSLR camera. I even have all the boxes and packaging for it. I still remember going into Don's Photo and buying that camera. I was so excited to just get home and try it out. That was three years ago. That camera has served me well, in fact, I'm even a little sentimental about selling it! However, I posted it on my Memories by Me Page and in less than an hour it was sold!
I had taken a quick picture of it to post on Portage online and Kijiji, but it's not necessary anymore as it now belongs to someone else. I hope they take as many memorable and heartwarming pictures I have with that camera.

Day 208
"Where I Work"
I woke up today to an ugly, dreary, rainy, windy day. Yuck! I was supposed to be doing a fun photo session with Mandy Wark Photography and Ravenshoe Photographics but needless to say, that didn't happen due to the weather. It would have been a crazy-fun session, let's just say it involved a 13 ye...ar old wedding dress and Panther bride (Mandy says I'm not a Cougar yet!). Too bad it didn't work out guys. I was dying to meet Mandy and looking forward to seeing Jeff again. If you want to see some fabulous work, check out their pages!
I wasn't very inspired to take pictures today, but I knew I had to take something today so I took a picture of where I spend most of my days - at my work space. I have moved my "office" all over my home in the past couple years....basement, spare rooms, studio, etc. but finally decided the best place is in my big living room where I can be close to my kids and beside my big, bright windows. Jack wanted to "work" with me today so I set up the other laptop for him to work on as well!
Anyhow got tons accomplished work-wise so all in all, it was a good day, despite the rainy day.

Liane and Terry ~ I Do ~
Here are some of the many images I captured at Terry and Liane's wedding in St. Claude last Saturday.
The Wedding Party
Liane and Terry's wedding party consisted of all their family, brothers, sisters, nephew and cousin. They were all lots of fun to work with and willing to do whatever I wanted of them. The ringbearer and flower girl were sooooo cute and so much fun to photograph! Here are some of the many images we captured last Saturday!
The Groom!
Terry was so in awe of his beautiful bride! He just kept telling her how beautiful she looked all day...he was so sweet. Here are some images of the handsome groom!
Beautiful Bride
I had the pleasure of photographing Liane and Terry's wedding in St. Claude last Saturday. It was a beautiful, relaxed and fun wedding and I was honoured that they asked me. Liane was an absolutely breath-taking bride. It was so fun to photograph her. Here are a few sneak peaks of this beautiful bride. It was great meeting you Liane - thank you so much for asking me to be a part of your beautiful day.

Best Capture of the Day!
This is what boys look like when they are worried their friends might see their Mom in her pj's! ha ha!! I love it....best capture of the day! They heard the bus coming down the road and SHEER PANIC!
Day 207
"First Day"
Well, today was the boys' first day of school. It went very smoothly, we were ready and on time for the big yellow school bus. I was taking my usual ton of pictures when the boys heard the bus coming down the road and were panicking that their friends might see me in my pj's! Needless to say, I bol...ted back in the house and saved my son's from dying of embarrassment!
Jackson also had his first day of Nursery School and he had a great day!

My Boys - Attempt #1
So, last day before summer holidays and I thought it would be a great idea to head to the beach for some pictures of the kids. They thought otherwise. They were soooooo goofy and silly and I was trying to get them to be serious AND take their pictures and it just didn't work. I did manage to capture a few good ones, ...but nothing great - which was what I was hoping for so I didn't have to do this again. Yeesh. Next time....their Dad is coming along!

Day 206
"My Boys"
So, thought I better post my "Picture of the Day" now because it will likely be a bit of a hectic evening getting ready for "back to school". I took the boys out for a few pictures today, you would have thought I was taking them for a root canal. They dragged their heels all the way to the car, and th...en they became the goofiest kids on the planet for the remainder of the hour. OMGosh! I did capture a few nice ones that I still need to look through and edit, but for now I will use this one. Yes, I know it's just their feet, but I love it just the same. If you follow my work....you know I have a thing with feet!!
I remember a good friend telling me she knew when her boys were getting older because they no longer had little fat baby feet! I am a bit saddened when I look at these three pairs of feet....I only have one pair of chubby feet left! :(
Anyhow, Day 206 is my boys, at St. Ambroise Beach. Love this. I am going to make it into a canvas for my office!
