I just wanted to take an opportunity to thank all of my friends and family for their support of my new business Memories by Me Photography. I would also like to especially thank my clients who have trusted me with capturing some moments of memories that will last a lifetime. Merry Christmas & Happy New Year to all of you.

Christmas Deadline

Well, it's hard to believe, Christmas is two weeks away as of tomorrow. I've been busy sorting and distributing everyone's Holiday Greeting cards, prints, etc. The deadline for ordering for guaranteed Christmas delivery is FRIDAY, DECEMBER 12, 2008. Enjoy the season everyone!

Christmas Is Fast Approaching!

Well, only 18 days until Christmas - wow - the time is flying by. I have been very busy the past couple weeks putting in orders for clients that want holiday cards or pictures to give to family for Christmas. I am extremely grateful for all my client's trust in me. The deadline for orders to be submitted for a guaranteed Christmas Delivery is Decmber 12th. After that, I cannot guarantee a prompt return on prints. Plaques, Canvases and Gallery wraps are now not guaranteed for Christmas delivery as the return on these takes longer than prints.
Thanks to everyone for all their orders! It's been a pleasure.

My Mom & Dad

My parents came to visit for a few days and I insisted on taking their picture while they were here. My Dad wasn't thrilled, but he let me snap away. I love it when my Mom and Dad come to visit - but hate it when they leave! They were such a help this week while I was so busy with my orders, etc. Thanks Mom & Dad - you're truly THE BEST!

The Miller Cuties Return

My friend Andrea brought her four kids (under five!!) over to have some fun portraits taken for Christmas as well as attempt to get a family picture taken. It was interesting to say the least - but what do you expect with four little ones? Personally, I think we captured some fun shots for her to look back on and smile.

Winter Fun

My sister's family came for a visit and we decided to take some fun,outdoor family pictures. My sister is seven-months pregnant and I think she is just glowing!

I spent some time on Monday night taking pictures of this great family. The girls had lots of ideas for poses and we had lots of fun. Thanks Harder Family - I appreciate you giving me this opportunity!

My Santa Baby

I have been taking so many pictures of other people's children lately that it donned on me that I haven't taken many of my own! Jackson fell asleep on the chair the other day with his "B" - he favourite blanket that my Mom made him (at one time, it was beautiful!) and I couldn't resist plopping the Santa hat on him and clicking away. This is truly one of my favourites.

My Favourite PIcture of the Month

Wow, what a busy month November has been. I thought I might slow down because of the snowfall, but people still came to my studio. I picked up a big order from Technicare today and when I was making my DVD slideshow for the Sawchuk's, this picture really impressed me. I think it's the combination of the "tiny-ness" of this baby boy and the fact that he's being held by his Dad just made me really fall in love with this picture.

I had the privilege of taking family pictures for this nice family. Their son's Carson & Jaxon were so cute! Carson was a real "poser" and Jaxon was just an adorable, busy little one year old!

The Sawchuk Family

I had the pleasure of seeing the Sawchuk Family at my Home this morning. Tricia was my son Danny's Grade 1 & 2 teacher so he thought it was pretty cool she was at our home, especially wiht her new son Dane and cute daughter Brooklyn. We captured some great shots of family, Brooklyn and Dane. Brooklyn was soooooo cute. She brought along her litle camera and pretty much took over the shoot and started telling everyone where they should sit - it was adorable! I think she has a career in photography some day. The Gurke Family

Amanda, Shaun and their adorable son Samuel (love that name) came to my place for some family portraits. Samuel was such a sweet heart and so good. He just naturally cuddled into his Mom and Dad and was an absolute pleasure to take pictures of. We did some indoor stuf and outdoor stuff - all turned out great. More pictures to come soon, but I just had to post this cute one of Samuel with the Santa Hat on! Thanks for coming out Amanda and Shaun - it was great to meet you!!
