Anxiously Waiting....

Well, my baby sister is having her second child any day now. I am so excited to become an aunt again. She's let me "practice" on her and her family the last year and I'm grateful for that. I cannot wait to take newborn photos or my new nephew or niece. Stay posted for some of those precious newborn pictures. I can't wait!!!!

Team Photos & Sporting Events

Well, I have been in the process of trying to reorganize my photography business to make it more fun and allow me more time to spend with my children (which is one of the main reasons I started my own home-based business). I have decided to no longer offer Team Photos or Sporting Event pictures. After looking back and trying to figure out which was the most stressful part of this job, I realized it was the portraits I was asked to take for teams, etc. These types of pictures are always rushed and I just don't have the time with each player or athlete to capture the shot I would like. I am going to concentrate soley on family & children's photography at my home studio or on location. These are the types of shoots I truly enjoy.

I thank all the teams and organizations that have given me an opportunity to capture some fun sporting moments, but as of today, I will no longer be taking bookings of this sort.

I am excited about a new year and new opportunities to capture moments of memories that will last a lifetime.

My son turns three tomorrow so I took the opportunity to take some really cute pictures of him. I loved how these turned out.

Congratulations to Pat & Jordan who tied the knot at the Court House in Portage la Prairie on Friday evening. It was my plesaure to be there to capture a few of the moments.

F A M I L Y

I had a great time on Saturday morning taking pictures of Bob, Anita, Ava & Madeline. It was quite a challenge to get a picture of the "sisters" together, but after much coaxing *(and bribing) - we did it!

A Prairie Boy's Winter

The hustle and bustle of the holiday season are behind us and now we settle in for a few more months of winter. While I enjoy the summer & fall more than the winter, you might as well enjoy the snow while it's here. My boys love hockey so what better way to enjoy the weather than to build a rink. We spent the majority of yesterday skating on our rink. Lots of fun.

Back In Business!

Well, after a much needed break from the photograpy world I am happy to say I'm back in business. I took a few weeks off to spend some time with my husband and children at our new cabin at Asessippi Ski Hill. I am sorry if some of you called and could not reach me - I left my cell phone off and did not check my home messages.
