Day 25

"Long Trip to Grandma's"

So, I'm up at the cabin and I have two sick boys so they were not likely candidates for my Day 25 - the other one I had used the day before on the train tracks. I packed up the kids and headed to my Mom's for the evening and while driving down 366 I saw this barn and thought it would make a great picture. I actually have been watching this barn collapse on the road "home" for a couple years now and I often wonder when it will actually fall down.

I took a few other cool landscape shots so I must thank my kids for their patience on the way to Grandma's. What is normally a 30 minute drive, turned into about an hour long drive. Thank you also to Nintendo for creating the DS Game! ;)

Here is Day 25.......

Day 24

"Fun on the Side of the Road"

So, as I'm driving with my kids to my cabin, I pass the Minnedosa Rest Stop. I ask "does anyone have to go to the washroom"? No, no & no. Ten minutes later, Dylan pipes up "Mom, I really have to go pee". Ersh. So, I pull onto a side road and "let him go". He began to balance and jump around the train tracks so I grabbed my camera and took a few shots (all while yelling at him to not play on the tracks and get back in the car - mixed message? Yes! )
Anyhow, here is my Day 24 featuring Dylan....on the side of the road between Minnedosa & Strathclair.

Project 365 - Out of Order!

So, I am having internet issues and therefore all of my Project 365 seem to be appearing out of order on my blog! However, rest assured.....they are all posted. I did take a picture (a few hundred to be exact) a day an kept up with my Project! Sorry for the out of order....hoping to get my internet provider changed in the next couple days.

Day 22 & 23

"What a Difference a Day Makes"
So, Day 22 was my last day in paradise. I grabbed a cup of java and headed out to the ocean to enjoy one last view. Because it was such a hectic day with packing and airports, the only pic I captured that day was a picture of my toes overlooking the beautiful ocean! Hence....that is my Day 22!
On Day 23, I woke up to a dreary, Manitoba winter day. It was so grey and not a stitch of sunshine in sight. I was at a loss of what to take a picture of so I simply took another picture of my view 24 hours later. What a difference a day makes! Hence, the snow picture is my Day 23!

Day 19

"Strike A Pose"
So, Day 19 was a beautiful day spent on the beaches of Cancun. My hubby Kris walked by and I simply yelled out "strike a pose" and this is what I got! I love the blue sky, the turquoise water, the angle....and of course....him!
Here is Day 19!

Day 20

"Beach Baby"

My nephew Maddox absolutely loved the water, whether it was the pool or the
ocean. He would gravitate towards the water wherever he was. However, this
day he just sat there (for about thirty seconds) so I managed to capture
this shot of him just looking out into the ocean.

I love the colours and I love his little feet covered in sand. He was such a
good baby on this trip....

Here is Day 20!

Day 21

Best Friends....well, kind of!"

So, Day 21 of my 365 Project was the last full day in Cancun. I had so many
beautiful pictures to choose from for this day, but the one I chose is of my
three boys enjoying the beach. Yes, I had to tell them to put their arms
around each other, but they did so willingly.

I love this one....because of the colours, the view, etc. but I mostly love
it because it's of the three most precious things in the world to me - my
boys.

Day 18

"Sandy Toes"

Well, as you can tell by now....we spent a great deal of time on the beach.
It was our favourite place to be ....other than the cool bar by the beach
;). My son Jackson's feet were constantly in the sand and were constantly
covered with sand. I couldn't resist taking a picture of his cute little
toes in the sandy beach.

Here is Day 18!

Day 17

"Enjoying the View"

My Mom loves the ocean....she loves everything about it. If she could, she'd live by the ocean I'm sure. She was just sitting here watching the waves and her family enjoying the ocean and I snapped this picture of her. This is completely un-edited. The colours (and her) just looked so beautiful that it had to be my Day 17.

Day 16

"Making Memories"

My brother and I seemed to make a point of meeting on the beach each morning - neither one of us wanted to waste a day in paradise. We'd get up at 7:00 a.m. (he was up earlier than me most days!) and we'd venture down and just watch the ocean. There was something so peaceful about just sitting there, watching the waves come and go.

Day 16, his son Dawson was with him and they went for a morning dip in the ocean. I think my brother was the most in love with the waves.

Here is Day 16 of Lance & Dawson enjoying the ocean. I don't think he even knew I was taking pictures.
