Day 15

"First Time in the Ocean"

So, Day 15 was an interesting day to say the least. Our flight to Cancun left at 7:00 a.m. so we had to be at the airport at 4:00 a.m. This meant waking the kids up at 2:30 a.m. (yes, 2:30 a.m.!!!). By the time we arrived in Cancun it felt like it was evening, but it was actually only 1:30 p.m. Anyhow, the kids were anxious to put their toes in the ocean for the first time ever, so by the time we got unloaded into our rooms, etc. it was a mad dash down to the ocean.

We were all in awe at the colour of the water. It was hard to set my camera for the bright sun, but I did and this picture is pretty much un-edited. What you see...is what our eyes saw.....simply gorgeous. It was love at first sight. The kids were thrilled to play in the ocean for the very first time in their life. I think this picture captures their excitement. There was no "posing" for Aunty Jodi or Mom - they were having too much fun.
