Well tonight's session was a lot of fun. I met up with the Dubois Brothers by my place for a large family session. One of the brothers is from Alberta so they decided it would be a nice surprise for their Mom if they did some pictures of the grandkids and their families all together. OK, who are we kidding - it was their wives' idea! Anyhow, the session went great and as we were wrapping up they got talking about their Mom and Dad and wondered if instead of surprising them with the prints, if they should have included them. It turns out their parents were camping at Creekside Campground (five minutes from our location) so we decided to just surprise Mom and Dad with an impromptu family photo!
When we puilled up to their campsite, Mrs. Dubois was looking at them like they were all nuts wearing their white shirts! She was quite shocked when they said they were there to capture a family picture! It was quite hilarious to say the least!
Anyhow, we took a little walk and found a nice grassy area. A client of mine happened to be there and offered us her lawn chairs (thank you Jackie!!) and voila - a family picture, captured in less than ten minutes! I have to say I was a little concerned the kids had had enough, I had already had them on location for almost 2 hours, but they did great!
Anyhow, I haven't had a chance to look through any of the others yet, but here is one of the large family ones that turned out! Thank you Dubois Family - that was lots of fun! Enjoy your weekend together!
